My Moments Are Worth Millions

As C gets ready to turn one, I’ve been fondly reflecting on the past year. At the risk of sounding like an old fart, it seems like yesterday that we brought him home from the hospital and I gazed on the face of this perfect angel as he slept. I couldn’t believe that we, my husband and I, had created this beautiful being. As he’s grown I am even more in awe of him, how fast he learns, understands and how far his curiosity will take him. I’ve loved re-discovering the world as he explores sights, textures, animals…For him, it is all new. My Moments Are Worth Millions

We’ve travelled a lot this year: With Aeroplan miles we’ve been on planes, in trains and automobiles. We have visited New York City, Quebec City, Fort Myers, Niagara Falls, Ottawa, Sauble Beach and Ontario’s Blue Coast. We have been to baseball games, museums, parks, restaurants, beach bars, national monuments, international landmarks and our favourite place, the beach.

We have seen butterflies, elephants, horses, flowers, waterfalls and more.

Watching him learn, develop, (and make animal sounds) has been everything I hoped it would be.

 

 

Although C may not remember this amazing year, I will. It has been an adventure in every way possible and I have never been happier.

So where to next? What does our next year have in store? With Aeroplan miles, I’m hoping more travelling, more exploring, more discovery.

Perhaps, most importantly, I want to make magical memories as a family.
